What we collect. When you create an account we store your name, email, phone number, society, and delivery details (tower and flat). When you place an order we store the order details — which kitchen you ordered from, what you ordered, your flat number, and any note you add.

How it is used. Your details are used only to run the service: showing you kitchens in your society, getting your order to the right kitchen, and letting the kitchen deliver to your flat. The kitchen you order from sees your name, flat number, order items and note — nothing else.

Payments. You pay the kitchen directly on delivery (UPI or cash). SocietyBites never collects or stores your card or UPI credentials.

What we never do. We do not sell your data, do not show it to other residents, and do not share it with anyone beyond the kitchen fulfilling your order.

Your choices. You can edit your details any time from your Profile page. To delete your account and data, contact us (below) and we will remove it.

The service. SocietyBites is a marketplace that connects residents of a housing society with kitchens in or around that society — home chefs, home bakers, restaurants and cloud kitchens. SocietyBites itself does not cook, prepare or deliver food.

Accounts. You must give accurate contact details. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.

Ordering & payment. Orders are placed in the app and paid directly to the kitchen on delivery by UPI or cash. Please pay promptly on delivery. You may cancel an order while it is still being prepared; once the kitchen has started or is out for delivery, cancellation is at the kitchen's discretion.

Food quality & safety. Each kitchen is responsible for the food it sells, its hygiene and its compliance with applicable food-safety rules (including FSSAI registration where required). Kitchens are reviewed before going live, and can be unlisted for repeated problems. If an order goes wrong, raise it with the kitchen first; you can also report a kitchen to us and we will review it.

Kitchens. Kitchens agree to keep menu prices and availability accurate, deliver orders themselves, and handle all payments from buyers directly. SocietyBites may charge kitchens a commission on orders, as agreed separately.

Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
